-Speaking of leadership, the pack as lots of positions that need to be filled this upcoming year, so please consider helping our pack continue to be successful!
- Save the date, Cub-O-Ree is coming October 11-13. Webelos Scouts are allowed to camp out October 11, all other scouts can arrive on the 12th before 12 noon. Meals need to be decided very soon for all scouts and parents who plan to attend. The theme this year is STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math). Of course shooting sports will be included. We also need someone to lead up the Campfire program for Pack 65. This can be a skit, a song or a joke. We need something that involves the majority of the group. Camp Woodfield charges $2 per person per night to camp and use facilities. Usually it is about $15, plus meals is the cost for a scout. Meals will run about $3 per person per meal for parents and siblings plus $2 for camping per night depending on if you are a Webelos or a cub scout.
- BALOO training is being offered on September 14th at Camp Woodfield. This is essential for our Pack to be able to camp. We must have two adults trained in BALOO. Cost is $20 which includes lunch. Webelos Leader Specific is also offered for $45 on the 14 & 15 of September at Camp Woodfield, this includes meals. These costs and your mileage are tax deductible for both of these. Please let Travis know if you are planning to take either of these courses.
